Tool Reimbursement is a key Employee Benefit
Program that actually saves you money and assists in retaining good
employees.
Tool Reimbursement
Our accountable online Program
simply reduces
your indirect expenses for every eligible employee.

This is possible because it
allows you
to
segment a portion of the employee's wages "tax free" for the reimbursement
of the expenses the employee incurs
for their
tools.
This not only reduces your tax liability
but allows increases in the net earnings of each participating and qualified
employee !

Sound Too Good to be True ?
It's Not ... Our program is referred to as an
Accountable Tools Reimbursement Plan.
Since the August 2005 IRS Ruling on Tool Reimbursement Plans, there has
been a great deal of misinformation about what is considered as a valid
Accountable Plan.
Unfortunately, there are still several programs being offered that we
believe
do not meet the requirements of being considered an Accountable Plan.
What is an Accountable Plan ...
... and why is this important ?
An Accountable Plan is an employee non taxed reimbursement that meets the
requirements allowable under
Treasury Regulations:
- •S1.132-5(a)(1)(v)
- S1.62-2(c)
(1)
These types of reimbursements are not unlike Section 125 Pre-tax
medical savings programs and mileage reimbursements except they must
meet the requirements outlined specifically in above United States
Treasury Regulations.
In recent years, the validity of any tool reimbursement program has been
under scrutiny to ensure they meet all the requirements of these
regulations.
Many of the programs on the market did not, and still do not qualify. If a
program
is determined not to qualify as an Accountable Plan, all reimbursements made
would then become taxable.
This is why it is important to select a provider that has not only
designed their program to meet the regulations, but will stand behind you.
Our tool reimbursement program is Powered by SecondCheck™
the leader in the Tool
Reimbursement Provider Industry.
SecondCheck™
provides the industry's first Indemnification Agreement that provides you
legal protection in case of an audit.
So when you follow our program, we stand behind you by defending your
interests as well as burdening any legal expenses incurred. This even
includes any taxes or penalties.
